Delete your Kothi account
You can delete your account yourself from the Kothi app, or ask us to and we will do it within seven days.
From the app
Open the Kothi app, go to Profile, and choose Delete account at the bottom of the page. You will be asked for your password if the account has one. The deletion is immediate.
Without the app
Email hello@kothi.pk from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my Kothi account. If you signed up with a phone number, include it. We confirm by reply and delete the account within seven days.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your password and any Google or Apple sign-in linked to the account
- Saved properties, saved searches and saved video tours
- Notifications, and every phone registered to receive them
What is kept, and why
Enquiries you made to agencies through Kothi, and any invoices, are kept with nothing personal attached to them: they are the record agencies are billed from, and a disputed charge is answered from it. Server logs are kept for a short, fixed period for security, then deleted. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
If you run an agency
Deleting your account removes your sign-in only. The agency — its listings, territory and invoices — stays with Kothi. To close the agency itself, write to hello@kothi.pk from the agency’s email address.
