Plain terms for using kothi.pk. They are not legal advice and they do not replace the written agreement an agency signs.

What Kothi is

Kothi is a platform that connects people looking for property in Pakistan with the authorised agency responsible for that area. Kothi is not a party to any sale, purchase or tenancy, does not hold deposits, and does not act as an agent for either side of a transaction.

Listings and accuracy

Listings are published by the agency holding the area, and that agency is responsible for the accuracy of what it publishes — price, size, condition, ownership and availability. Kothi reviews listings before they go live but cannot verify every claim, and a listing is not a warranty.

Verify before you pay anything. Confirm ownership documents and the identity of whoever you are dealing with before transferring money to anyone, for any reason. Kothi will never ask you to transfer money to secure a property.

Using the site

You may not:

scrape, copy or republish listings or photographs in bulk;
use contact details found here for unsolicited marketing;
impersonate an agency, an owner or Kothi;
submit a property you have no right to offer.

Accounts

An account is optional for browsing. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think it has been used by somebody else. You may delete your account at any time; see the privacy notice for what happens to your data.

Contacting an agency

Tapping Call or WhatsApp on a listing shares your phone number with the agency holding that area, so they can call you back. That is the point of the enquiry and it is what allows the agency to be paid for it.

Agencies

An agency’s rights to an area, its obligations, and the terms on which it is invoiced are set out in the agreement it signs with Kothi. Where anything on this page conflicts with that agreement, the agreement governs.

Liability

Kothi provides the platform as it is. To the extent the law allows, Kothi is not liable for loss arising from a transaction between you and an agency or an owner, from an inaccurate listing, or from the site being unavailable.

Changes

These terms may change. The date above is when they last did, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.
